Toyota india to use promotions to push sales of the corolla

Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd is expecting to break the stagnancy in the sales of Toyota Corolla this calendar year through internet marketing, attractive festive schemes and the launch of a limited edition.

The Japanese car major, which operates a joint venture company in India with the Kirloskar group, is expecting Corolla's sales to touch 8,000 units this year against around 7,000 a year ago.

B Ashish Kumar, general manager, Toyota Kirloskar Motors' marketing division, said value additions and attractive offers were helping the company to push up the Corolla sales.

We are planning a festive season campaign, which will boost the sales of all our models," said Kumar.
