Toyota India to replace defective Innovas

CNN-IBN says that Toyota have released an official statement which says Toyota India are not recalling the Innovas but if necessary going to replace the vehicle in a special service campaign.The company has sent letters to customers notifying them of the potential fault in their cars.

Since the Innovas constitute only 15% of the total sold in the Indian markets such a move will not have major Financial implications for Toyota India is what they are claiming.

Have not yet got any official word on this but would post updates as soon I can.
