Spyker F1 shall now be know as Force India,Vijay Mallya[India's very own richard branson] and Dutch entrepreneur Michiel Mol bought the team from Spyker.
"Having an Indian-owned Formula One team on the grid was something that was considered completely out of reach before,” Mallya told news agency Reuters. “This reflects the new India and new economic prosperity.”
The team’s new logo is also expected to include the Indian national flag within its design.
Very patriotic on the part of Mr. Mallya indeed but it could send the wrong signals as far as Formula 1 is concerned.
Autoblog reports that both drivers could be Indians with Narain Karthikeyan a certainty while Karun Chandok so far expressing his interest to stay on in GP2 for another year or so.
