Isuzu to manufacture buses in India

Isuzu Motors Ltd on Tuesday said it will start producing mid-size and small-size buses in India along with Sumitomo Corp and Swaraj Mazda Ltd later this month. Isuzu said it plans to sell 400 mid-size buses and 500 small buses in the initial year, intending to expand sales to 1,000 units and 5,000 units respectively by 2012.
