Parking charges and Toll paid should subsidise Oil companies

Indian oil companies are on the verge of extinction and they desperately need help to improve their financial situation.Parking fees and toll for using roads is now a major form of revenue but imagine if cars did not ply at all how would these companies fare.It is only apt that these companies pay a percentage of their revenue to the oil companies who are actually paying customers to use the services of these companies in the form of subsidies.

We are so used to the term "commission" in India.Should oil companies not be given commission for bringing customers to these companies.Especially because of the subsidy the oil companies are providing.

This additional revenue earned could go a long way in improving the finances of the oil companies which as it stands is all set to forcefully close down these companies.Already imports have stopped and any abnormal surge in demand and God help us.The increase in parking charges or toll rates would be very nominal if at all.

Given the mess the oil companies are in even this initiative may not help them tide over the crisis but right now any little income even is welcome by these companies. The easiest thing ofcourse is to raise prices of petrol and diesel especially but that is something which our democratic setup does not allow.
