Mazda's new small car- The Mazda1

Thanks to Tata Motors now every manufacturer is thinking about a cheap small car.Ofcourse the rising gas prices have meant these vehicles also attract a wider segment of buyers even from the more developed and richer countries.

Mazda are all set to reveal such a car at the Paris Motor show.A car which is more or less on the same kinetic theme which ford seems to have integrated in its recent designs as well.For the emerging markets the main theme of the car would be light weight and smaller engines which means we a cheaper and more fuel efficient car which is environment friendly.The car will get sliding doors.Expect lots more toys like sat-nav for the developed markets

However unlike the Tata Nano and the VW Up concept I am not sure if this car is rear engined.

The mazda1 could be here in the future.
