Toyota to launch a new model every year

I have already talked about the fact that Toyota have finally got aggressive with their India plans and shall now bring in a wider range of models in the market and more importantly targeting the mainstream market.

Now company officials have hinted at launching a new model every year in India to make up for the lost time in India.Toyota have themselves admitted that they have taken a while to understand the dynamics of the Indian market.

Toyota is one company which believes in doing its homework well and now be prepared for an onslaught.Toyota have already contacted vendors and have laid out detailed plans for their second plant at Bangalore with an investment of close to Rs.1500 crore.The second plant should be up and running by 2010.

Finally the sleeping giant has woken up.
