Something for Toyota India to think about.

Oflate I am coming across numerous complaints regarding Toyota dealerships and their arrogant attitude towards customers something very very unlike Toyota.

I would not take any particular case or name but there have been many cases of disgruntled customers in the buying process itself. Also when it comes to after sales I have come across more than one or two customers who are accusing the dealers of overcharging, unnecessary replacement of parts and a discourteous behaviour in general. They feel the single dealerships in cities is leading to an almost monopolistic practice and some even prefer local garages to the toyota dealer.

Perhaps the expectation from the brand is a bit too much but anyways there is no harm if toyota looks at raising the overall experience at dealerships. Also the same owner for multiple dealerships across the whole state in some cases is something which in my opinion subject to problems and complaints.

I personally did not find fault with the local Toyota dealership but since everybody including Ford ,GM are doing their level best in improving the dealership experience it would do no harm if Toyota raises the bar .Most importantly for the customer the dealer is the face of the company.
