Suzuki's possible answer to the Prius.

The Kizashi was designed keeping in mind the American markets and when you talk about the american automobile scenario now how can you leave behind hybrids.

Suzuki are looking at giving the Kizashi a hybrid engine option as well.Apart from this suzuki are also giving the car its most powerful engine yet a 3.6-litre V6, mated to a six-speed auto ’box[this looks most likely to be a america specific engine].For the rest of the world suzuki plan a 2.4L petrol as well as fiat designed but Maruti manufactured multijet diesel engines.



The Kizashi would be available as a crossover[in the picture],saloon and an estate.For india mostly it would be a sedan to take on the Honda civic and the Toyota Corolla.With Honda and Toyota now talking about hybrids in India can Maruti be far away,well hopefully not.
