Come 2008 and all existing vehicles in the Tata and fiat lineup would undergo a dramatic change and cars present right now would most probably be discontinued for their newer generation compatriots.This is the first time such a large exercise is being undertaken by any automobile manufacturer and I wish Tata all the very best.

Cars expected to be launched/relaunched in India in 2008
The company will launch more than a dozen new products in the Indian market and a new Winger, its luxury light commercial vehicle. Fiat Motors’ Linea sedan and Grande Punto premium hatchback which will also be marketed by Tata Motors.
“It’s going to be a year of Tata Motors. They will have products in all the segments. The launches will show a new mindset of high-technology vehicles developed inhouse by Tata Motors. The company has also kept the export potential of these products in mind to offset any slump in the domestic market, which is highly cyclical in nature,” said a Mumbai-based auto analyst. Tata Motors is banking on these vehicles to check its declining sales.
2008 looks to be Tata motors's year all the way.
