Honda adds new features for the Honda city in India-10th anniversary honda city launched

Guess competition forced honda to launch their new variant well before diwali and in time for the Ganesh festival. There has been no facelift so honda has tried to cut costs on that part but all variants prices have increased by Rs.3000 or so.

New GXi instrument cluster

So the with the Exi variant you get a new stereo,GXi gives you new stereo+ fog lamps+whitish tinge added to instrument cluster, while the vtec now comes with leather upholstery + airbags and abs.But all this come at a cost The honda city now comes at a whopping D-segment car price of 8.65lakh ex-showroom newdelhi,so finally on road prices in cities like mumbai and bangalore would be close to 10lakhs.Honestly speaking you would be nuts to buy the Honda city at this price. The honda city is a fabulous car no doubt but it is no D-segmenter,if mileage is a concern go in for the Optra magnum it not only is fun to drive it saves you much more in terms of fuel bills because it is a diesel.Plus the base model corolla too is available at that price and so also the lancer cedia. And yes you could consider the Honda civic even.

Anyway guys there is a an all new honda city coming up by next year, perhaps we can expect a better deal from Honda then.

The maruti suzuki SX4 gets even more VFM because it is available at an ex-showroom price of approx Rs. 6.85 lakhs[without leather],while with leather price goes upto to 7.20Lakhs ex-showroom.THe VXi variant of the SX4 comes with a price tag of Rs.6.15 lakhs
